Cookie Policy

Strictly necessary storage

SEAG Quest uses browser localStorage to remember:
  • Your sign-in session (so you don't have to log in on every page).
  • Your child's progress when not signed in (guest mode).
  • Display preferences such as the chosen saga theme and dyslexia-friendly mode.
These are essential for the service to work and do not require consent under UK PECR.

Hosting platform analytics

SEAG Quest is hosted on Lovable. The hosting platform loads a small first-party analytics script (flock.js) on every page and sets a deployment cookie called __dpl. These are used to route traffic to the correct deployment and to measure aggregate uptime and page-load performance. They do not identify your child, build a marketing profile, or share data with advertising networks. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any cross-site tracking technology.

No advertising, no cross-site tracking

We do not place cookies on your device for marketing purposes. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for advertising.

Third parties

When the AI tutor is invoked, the question text is forwarded to a third-party language-model provider via the AI section of the privacy policy. That call does not set cookies on your device.

Managing storage

You can clear local storage at any time from your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out and clear local guest progress. Signed-in user progress is preserved on the server.
